I am not so very good in extempore. The day when I spoke in my induction training, (An initial crash course for fresher’s at Wipro) really made me wonder.
The trainer asked every one of us to deliver a speech on some topic. Some described about their natives, some on relations, movies etc…The theme flashed immediately to my mind was “FRIENDS”. Very tenaciously I addressed the audience and delivered my speech.After completing my speech I could feel the enthusiasm and spirit in my mind :)
I questioned myself, where I have been for all these days? What made me to do so?
Then I realize that the topic which I have chosen made me speak effortlessly. It also made me to comprehend “When the feelings are true and the words are from your heart” you can reach greater heights.
Yes. That’s true. When I started addressing the audience I can think of about only one person.She is a very close friend of mine whom I can share all my feelings. Our friendship is not long long years old, its just six years.
My college days started with her.I would like to describe much about my college.(Not here...Probabaly in a separate blog ;) ) My happiest moments are when Iam with her. She has taken enough care of me in a way that I dnt miss her, until now though we are apart.I consider our friendship as a gift. It involves many many sweet memories that stay not for a while but for my lifetime.Iam lucky enough to mention about her and our friendship here, on her b’day that too on this friendship week :D Glad to pen few lines for you...
I have met you few years ago
No matter whats the reason
We became frnz !!!
You are more a sister to me
Sometimes a mother...
You made me laugh
When Iam sad
You made me cry
For no reasons
No fights
No misunderstanding
No arguments
Really a hard one
That no one can break this
Your love, affection and care
Gave me strength
Gave me faith
Gave me confidence
Still I could remember the days
You drove away all my tough times
And shared my burden
Many a things
Difficult to list
All I wish you is
A long beautiful life
Abundant blessings from God
Good family
Good relatives and
Good frnz
All I can say is
Iam here like this
Its you because...
Iam cherishing the sweetest
Memories we had all...
A very happy friendship day to all :D

Short Shorter Shortest ...
It was exactly two and half years ago I heard the word EOD for the very first time when I joined WIPRO. This corporate term has made me perplexed. I decided to Google (an elixir of life I can say) to know what it exactly means.
It just thrown me with some bunch of meanings (Acronyms/Abbreviations) out of which I picked (short listed out of my ignorance :( ) few.
Again I happened to see some clusters...
* End Of Day
* End Of Data
* End Of Discussion
* Every Other Day
* Entry On Duty
* Entering Office Date and so on…
Having some more in mind whether if it would fall under this relevant category :roll: , I decided to get it confirmed from my collogue asking, “Does he mean to say, end of the day ???” (As though I am aware it ;) )
I heard the reply “S” which made me feel happy (Yeppyyy Iam rite :lol: )
In the same way I came across the term LOC. It again stands for
* Line Of Code
* Lines Of Credit
* Line Of Control
* Level Of Care
* Logic Of Constraints
* Loop On-line Control
* Letter Of Conditions
* Local Operator Console
* Line Of Communication and so on…
It really made me blink where and when to use :roll:
The list does not end with this, which really made me to question, why all these necessary ?Does they really consume much time when it has been used in full form orDo they really save time when it is abbreviated ???
Eventually Abbreviations/Acronyms share us some semantic and phonetic meaning which should not be a confused one.
Do you have any such experience ???

Heavy-Eyed !!!
There are loads of funny moments which you enjoy happening around you. One such thing which I witnessed is Heavy-eyed people getting caught during meetings or classroom sessions.
Out of compulsion they are forced to attend such sessions, which drive them to sleep.I used to observe one of my class mate getting punish for sleeping in history classes,(from standard 6th till 9th… I am sure :-) )
I also observe people enjoy themselves in their own dream land, in meetings which run with sober and serious discussions.The funniest of all is that some chief guests on the dais are also major contributors for this.Recently I heard Ministers and MP’s sleep in LokSabha meetings, who are actually in the respectable position as representatives for their constituencies.
Despite the fact “Every closed eye is not sleeping, and every open eye is not seeing”,Do all this really fall & end under funniest category or does it make any impact (Either on Presenter or Observer or Sleeper?)
Your views or experience on this !!!

Comprehend to Comprehend !!!
It was the time when academic year begins for the nursery school and teacher handles classes for standard-I students.
Teacher: Dear students !!! You all have been promoted from kinder garden. Its time for you all to learn many new things. So I begin my class with mathematics.
Students: (With a wonderful smile listening excitedly)
Teacher: An arithmetic operation includes Addition, Subtraction………..………..………..(Explained much about all these calculations. Out of curiosity to know their understanding teacher fired a question to a last bench student-obviously last bench seaters are the victims because of elevation :-) )I am giving you two apples. Again I would like to give you two more. Tell me how much do you have with you now?
Student: (After thinking for some time… answered) Five
Teacher: (Repeats the question again and expecting the correct answer this time)
Student: (Answered tenaciously) Five
Teacher: (After some time …) Tell me which is your favorite fruit?
Student: Mango
Teacher: Fine. I will ask you a question. If you answer this, then I will give you a mango.
Student: :-)
Teacher: (Repeats the same question with mango instead of apple and expecting for the correct answer)
Student: (With no qualm…. answers) Four
Teacher: (Felt very happy and appreciated him. Teacher again triggered the same question with apple instead of mango this time and waiting for the answer anxiously)
Student: (Answers again as…) Five
Teacher: (Got annoyed and beaten up him nicely) What made you think like this?
Student: You gave me four and I already have one with me in my lunch bag. So it’s five...
Teacher: (Shocked)
Whenever we question others we look for the answers only in one angle. We are not seeing things from others point of view. It is because we look at the truth through the screen of an intuition.Misunderstanding causes allegation and quarrel finally breaks the relationship even. To avoid misunderstanding we “Comprehend ourselves to Comprehend others better”
Here who misunderstood actually…Teacher or the student???
